  2. Feb 21,  · Ultravisitor has quickly become my favorite Squarepusher album. The songs "Ultravisitor", "Tetra-Sync", and "Iambic 9 Poetry" are absolutely incredible, and represent some of Tom's finest work in nearly all styles he has touched on in the past. Essentially this release can be seen as a grand retrospective on Tom Jenkinson's entire career/5().

  6. With ‘Ultravisitor,’ Squarepusher has created sound like sound never sounded before. Straight from the word go, on the albums title track, Tom Jenkinson creates the most amazing music to ever come from a warp artist. The album, ‘Ultravisitor’ is not typical Squarepusher, but then again, there has never been a typical Squarepusher record/5(21).
  7. Like Aphex Twin, Squarepusher might be locked into a holding pattern. Widely considered to be two of the most forward thinking acts of IDM, Aphex Twin and Squarepusher played it safe in their return back to the game. Whether its 26 Mixes or Ultravisitor, it shows that even old ideas can still sound good, even if they are recycled/5(43).
  8. Ultravisitor is Squarepusher's sixth or seventh album (depending on how you consider Do You Know Squarepusher-- personally, I don't), and succeeds in surprising ways. It's nothing terribly "new.
